To provide network connectivity for cloud enabled devices whilst still maintaining the security of the IT infrastructure the normal behaviour of the devices needs to be known. Once the normal behaviour and traffic patterns of the devices are known then restrictions can be put in place to limit network access to the devices.

Through examining raw network traffic NGTS can produce a network foot print of the device including types of traffic and destinations that can be used to configure network access controls and monitoring for the device.
