Great attention is often focused on perimeter security solutions (firewalls, intrusion prevention, penetration testing, etc) at the expense of internal infrastructure security (WiFi, internal LAN, private WAN, etc). With some of the greatest cyber security threats now coming from inside threats it is essential that the internal security of the IT infrastructure is tested.

As part of the network infrastructure security assessment, NGTS will conduct a detailed examination of the existing internal IT infrastructure to ensure that internal security devices are configured correctly and are fully patched. In addition to this, a network infrastructure security assessment can include WiFi security, LAN authentication and segmentation, server patch levels, etc.

After the completion of a security assessment of the network infrastructure NGTS will produce a comprehensive report detailing the current cyber security posture of the internal IT infrastructure with a list of recommendations that will mitigate any risks discovered.
